Scrollmail can apply real Gmail actions. Choose your settings carefully and review important messages before treating them as done.
Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Scrollmail. By installing, accessing, or using Scrollmail, you agree to these terms and to the handling of information described in the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Scrollmail.
You may use Scrollmail only if you are old enough to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction and are allowed to use the Google account you connect. If you use Scrollmail for an organization, you are responsible for making sure you have authority to connect that account and use the app on the organization's behalf.
The Service
Scrollmail is a Gmail-dependent app that helps you process mail as a feed. Depending on your settings, messages you scroll past may be archived, marked as read, moved to trash, or otherwise treated as done. Scrollmail can also send mail you choose to send and may show sender and email-authentication signals, including signals based on DKIM, SPF, and DMARC information when available.
Scrollmail depends on Google, Gmail, Google OAuth, Google APIs, your device, your network, and app platform services. Google may change Gmail, OAuth, API behavior, rate limits, account policies, review requirements, or other terms in ways that affect Scrollmail. We may need to change, limit, pause, or discontinue features to comply with those requirements or keep the app working.
Your Control and Responsibility
You control whether to connect a Google account, which messages to open, which actions to take, and what your "done" setting does. You are responsible for the consequences of actions applied to your mailbox, including messages that are archived, marked read or unread, moved to trash, starred, pinned, added to To-Do, replied to, forwarded, or sent.
Some mailbox actions may be difficult or impossible to undo after Gmail or another email client syncs them. Scrollmail is built to make email triage faster, not to guarantee that every important message will be noticed or preserved. You should use your own judgment and keep backups, recovery options, and Gmail settings appropriate for your email account.
Accounts and Access
You must have the right to access any Google account you connect to Scrollmail. You are responsible for keeping your Google account, device, and app access secure. You may revoke Scrollmail's access through your Google Account permissions. If access is revoked, expires, or is limited by Google, the app may stop syncing or applying message actions until you reconnect.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Scrollmail, including by:
- accessing accounts or data you are not authorized to use;
- using Scrollmail to send spam, phishing, malware, harassment, or unlawful content;
- attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security controls of Scrollmail, Google, Gmail, or related services;
- using Scrollmail in violation of Google policies, platform rules, third-party rights, or applicable law.
Beta App and Changes
Scrollmail is an early product and may change quickly. Features may be experimental, incomplete, temporarily unavailable, or removed. We may add paid features later, including push notifications, snooze, scheduling, or cloud-assisted services.
If paid features are introduced, any price, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, or trial terms will be presented before you buy or subscribe. Those payment terms will apply in addition to these terms.
Ownership and Feedback
Scrollmail and its software, design, branding, and website are owned by Scrollmail or its licensors. These terms let you use Scrollmail; they do not transfer ownership of the app, code, trademarks, or other intellectual property to you.
You keep ownership of your email and other content in your Google account. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you allow us to use them to improve Scrollmail without owing you compensation or credit.
No Professional Advice
Scrollmail may help surface trust and email-authentication signals, but those signals are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Scrollmail does not provide legal, financial, security, compliance, or other professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating suspicious messages and deciding whether to act on them.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Scrollmail is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free behavior.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrollmail will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost emails, missed messages, lost profits, lost data, account issues, or service interruptions arising from or related to your use of the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In those places, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may stop using Scrollmail at any time by deleting the app or revoking Google access. We may suspend, limit, or stop providing the service if necessary to protect users, comply with law, address abuse, respond to platform or Google requirements, or operate the product.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including ownership, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and contact provisions, will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Scrollmail evolves. When changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide notice appropriate to the change. Your continued use of Scrollmail after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
